Dabei sind die zwei Winkeltastelemente (6, 7) mit zwei Längenmessvorrichtungen (15, 19) mit parallel zu den Anlageflächen (8, 9) verstellbaren Längentastelementen (16, 20) verbunden, die in Kontakt mit den Enden (17, 21) der Biegeschenkel (4, 5) bringbar sind. Dadurch sind die Längen (14, 18) beider Biegeschenkel (4, 5) eines mit den Anlageflächen (8, 9) angetasteten Werkstücks (2) gleichzeitig erfassbar.

    • A hook angle gauge (36) has a bar (40) with a straight bottom edge that lays across the cutting corners of successive cutting links in a length of saw chain. A face plate (42) includes a series or row of holes or openings (14a-h) that simulate the cross section of the file used to sharpen the cutting links. Different height placements of the openings relative to the bar edge indicate different hook angles. An operator slides the face plate (42) across a selected cutting link side plate until an opening therein matches the configuration of the side plate cutting edge. Each opening is marked with the hook angle setting (46) indicated by that opening to enable the operator to determine the hook angle of the cutting link.

    • An angle determinator comprises four hingedly interconnected links (1 - 4). These links form jointly a parallelogram having its apexes constructed as pivot joints. At one of the apexes of the parallelogram the links (2,3) are rotatably connected to a bar (11) which is provided with a scale (13). Along this scale that apex of the parallelogram which is opposite to said one apex is displaceable together with a pointer (15) cooperating with said scale (13). To make possible quick and handy determination not only of such "concave" or "open" angles as are defined by two planes, e.g. a floor and a wall or a wall and a ceiling, but also of "convex" or "solid" angles, i.e. angles in which only the outside of the planes defining the angle is accessible to the angle determinator, one (4) of the links (1, 4) of the angle determinator forming the angle of the parallelogram at said opposite apex constitutes an integral portion of a substantially straight rod (9) which together with said bar (11) forms an angle which is half as wide as the angle of the parallelogram at said first apex.
