    • A thread ring gauge includes a body having inner and outer peripheries spaced in a radial direction. The body includes a split extending from the outer periphery through the inner periphery, separating the body into two sections respectively having first and second end faces. The first end face includes a groove extending away from the second end face in a width direction perpendicular to the radial direction. The groove extends from the outer periphery towards but spaced from the inner periphery. The groove has a bottom wall facing the second end face. An adjusting member is extended through the first and second sections and movable to adjust a width of the slit between the first and second end faces in the width direction. A gauge block is received in the groove and abuts the bottom wall of the groove and the second end face.

    • An apparatus (100) for checking the thread of a threaded element comprises: a check group (1) adapted to receive a freely rotatable threaded element (200), the check group (1) comprising abutment means (2) and at least one check roller (3) rotatable about a rotation axis (X-X) and externally threaded with a reference thread (30), the abutment means (2) and the at least one check roller (3) being positionable relative to each other for defining an operative configuration of the check group (1), in which they are situated in lateral abutment with the threaded element (200); motor means adapted to cause a rotation between the threaded element (200) and the at least one check roller (3), and detection means (5) adapted to detect the relative position of the abutment means (2) and the at least one check roller (3). A method for checking threaded elements that can be carried out by means of such apparatus (100) is also described.

    • A thread inspection tool of the type, in which a sliding caliper is provided with holders, in which thread profile blades may be mounted, the holders being fastened to the jaws of the sliding caliper, and in which the thread profile blades, one of which having of at least two thread profiles, may be brought into mutual contact. With a view to providing a tool which may be calibrated without the use of additional equipment, and the measuring reliability of which may be immediately controlled, the thread inspection tool is characteristic in that the sliding caliper is of the zero positionable type, that the thread profile blades are adapted to measure pitch diameter and to visually check and evaluate the thread profile, that the holders comprise two grooves extending perpendicularly to each other, and in which one groove is adapted to receive and to be held by one of the jaws of the sliding caliper, and in which the second groove, which comprises a threaded hole for holding a fastening screw for the thread profile blades, is machined to such a depth and width that it may hold the guide lug of a thread profile blade, the grooves for the guide lugs extending mutually in such a way that when two thread profile blades are placed in each their groove, they are positioned in the same plane parallel with the beam of the sliding caliper, and in such a way that a centre line common for the thread profiles intersects a tread crest on one thread profile blade and a root on the other.
