摘要： A personal protective device is combined with a cellular telephone. Activation of either device causes activation of the other device. Activation is achieved by a switch or voice command. Upon activation, a message asking for assistance at the present location is sent to a previously agreed upon emergency contact. The smartphone also starts both audio and video recording, which are also part of the data sent to the emergency contact person or service. Additionally, the personal protective devices are integrated into a unit that may combine such items as protective spray, Taser, strobe light, dye pack, siren and other deterrent technologies to ward off would-be attackers. These devices are integrated into a hand held unit that can be unobtrusively worn or carried in a purse or pocket. An optical safety device is included to protect the user from a potential assailant approaching from a rearward.

摘要： A control module used in combination with an activation device for generating an activation signal in response to a stress exposure training event and an electrical impulse device for delivering an electrica! shock to the user. The control module has a housing for being carried on the user. The module includes a controller function which sends a shock signal to the impulse device to shock the user according to prescribed shock criteria in response to an activation signal. The control module can be used with various activation devices including light-based force-on-force training or video shoot-back simulations. 摘要： An electrical immobilization device (10) with interchangeable cartridge modules (14). By changing modules, the device (10) can be configured for launching a single electrode pair projectile having different distance characteristics. The appearance of the device (10) can also be altered with a module change. Appearance may include a horizontally oriented gun style and a vertically oriented non-lethal style. A module (14) with two contacts (42, 44) spaced apart can be added to immobilize a target located immediately adjacent. The module (14) includes a dual laser sight to provide an accurate indication of the likely impact points for the remotely launched projectiles on a remote target. The device (10) contains an ejection sleeve (16). Actuation of this ejection slide (16) dispenses the fired cartridge to facilitate installation of the next cartridge for firing. The handle (12) contains a removable, chargeable battery pack. The handle (12) also contains a trigger (28) and safety switch.
