摘要： A refrigeration cycle apparatus includes a refrigerant circuit which allows refrigerant to circulate therethrough, and an outdoor heat exchanger which is provided to the refrigerant circuit and exchanges heat between the refrigerant and outdoor air. The outdoor heat exchanger has first to third heat exchange sections. The second heat exchange section is located below the first heat exchange section, and connected thereto. The third heat exchange section is located below the second heat exchange section, and connected thereto. In a refrigerant passage connecting the second and third heat exchange sections, a first pressure reducing device is provided, and reduces a pressure of the refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant passage. In an operation mode in which the first and second heat exchange sections each serve as an evaporator, the third heat exchange section is located upstream of the second heat exchange section in the flow of the refrigerant, and refrigerant having a temperature higher than that of the outdoor air flows through the third heat exchange section.

摘要： A system and method are described that help to alleviate pressure and strain spikes in and around dead tubes (260) or frontiers between stages (215, 235, 225) in a multi-stage condenser coil (240). Instead of cycling a fan off and on, fans (285) associated with the condenser (240) are kept running at a low speed instead of being turned off. Preventing the fans (285) from turning off completely helps to even out the pressure and strain spikes. The present teachings can be especially beneficial in aluminum-based coils (240). The present teachings include both a unit controller that carries out the teachings, and a system based on temperature and/or pressure switches connected to a fan controller (280).

A valve may be provided at the pipe to operate the thermosyphon. The cooling circuit and the thermosyphon may be operated independently. The thermosyphon may provide auxiliary cooling for the refrigeration chamber when the cooling circuit is not operational.

摘要： An air conditioning apparatus including a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an indoor heat exchanger, and an expansion valve to depressurize a refrigerant. The refrigerant is formed of hydro fluorocarbon (HFC). The compressor includes a compression unit to compress the refrigerant, a motor unit to provide rotational power to the compression unit, and an oil accommodation portion to store oil to reduce friction between the rotating shaft and the compression unit and lower a temperature of the compressor, and the oil contains a carbon nanoparticle. Even when an HFC-based refrigerant producing high discharge temperature in a compressor is used, deterioration of the compressor due to the high temperature is prevented. In addition, by lowering the operational temperature of the compressor, the reliability and performance of the compressor using the HFC-based refrigerant and the air conditioning apparatus using the same may be enhanced.
