    • To provide an air conditioner setting system that inexpensively performs, when models differ depending on the type of outdoor unit that is connected to an indoor unit, judgment of matching between the models and remote controller settings. Models of air conditioners include a dual cooling and heating outdoor unit (2) and a cooling-only outdoor unit (3). A setting changing switch (39) of a universal remote controller (30) transmits operation instruction signals compatible with the models of the air conditioners to execute setting change. A remote controller transmitting component (31) unilaterally transmits, to an indoor unit (1), an operation instruction signal corresponding to the setting state of the setting changing switch (39). Additionally, an outdoor transmitting component (25) of the outdoor unit (2) transmits its own predetermined model information identified beforehand to the indoor unit (1) to which it is connected. A judging component (15) of the indoor unit (1) compares the predetermined model information and the operation instruction signal to judge whether or not the setting of the universal remote controller (30) and the model of the air conditioner are compatible with each other.

    • An arrangement and method for controlling cooling, air conditioning, ventilation, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on the basis of a microcomputer are to provide an implementation using a single, expandable, simple and compact unit for a plurality of different systems comprising components from different manufactures and simple remote control/remote monitoring by an operator having no programming knowledge by way of known communication means. The arrangement for controlling systems on the basis of a micro-computer having ROM and RAM, interfaces of a web server and data recoding is designed according to the invention as a compact unit for controlling cooling, air conditioning, ventilation, pneumatic and hydraulic systems comprising components from different manufacturers and comprises: a micro-processor having a plurality of controllers that can be freely programmed regarding the functions thereof, a web server as control function operating unit; a network connection; a plurality of multiport inputs that can be programmed freely regarding the functions thereof for actual value control signals; communication interfaces for internal and external networks and/or bluetooth; standardized interfaces for the communication with the system; a plurality of analog and digital outputs for controlling the system components; function-related input by way of communication means and an external plain text display and/or remote polling and/or programming via communication interfaces.
