    • An assembly of an end-fitting (9), having an axial extending through opening (14), with a flexible pressure pipe (1) which is of a non-bonded structure comprising a number of layers (2, 3, 4, 5, 7) including an inner carcass (2) of an interlocking structure made from metallic strips (23) forming a screwthread, an end part of which extends, in the assembled condition, into the through opening (14). The assembly comprises an annular holding groove (28) which is formed in the wall of the through opening (14), and a lock nut (15). The metallic strips (23) form a thread (24) with windings (25). When the pipe (1) is to be assembled with the end-fitting (9) the carcass (2) is exposed by initially removing the layers (3, 4, 5, 7) surrounding the carcass (2) at the end of the pipe (1), whereafter the lock nut (15) is screwed on to the end of the carcass. Finally the carcass (2) is inserted into the through opening (14) with the lock nut (15) placed in the holding groove (28) formed in the wall of the through opening (14). In some applications the lock nut (15) can also be embedded in a casting material (not shown), e.g. epoxy, for fixing the lock nut firmly in the holding groove. The joint between the carcass (2) of the flexible pressure pipe (1) and the end-fitting (9) is a simple and cheap structure and provides a greater resistance to axial tensile loads acting on the carcass (2) and against unwinding than has been known before.

    • Ventilanschlußplatten (11, 11') sind mit Hilfe von Buchsen (21) miteinander verbunden. Die Buchse (21) hat eine außermittige, zylindrische Ausfräsung (24) und eine Ausfräsung (25) mit einer senkrechten Kante (26) und einer schrägen Kante (27). Die Buchse (21) ist so mit einem Ende (23) in einem Entlüftungskanal (13') angeordnet, daß ein in einem Entlüftungsanschluß (17') geführter Leichtspannstift (28) in die Ausfräsung (24) eingreift. Das andere Ende (22) ragt in den Entlüftungskanal (13) einer anderen Ventilanschlußplatte (11), wobei eine abgeflachte Hohlschraube (29) in die Ausfräsung (25) eingreift und entlang der schrägen Kante (27) gleitet. Dadurch werden die beiden Ventilanschlußplatten (11, 11') aneinander gezogen und dicht miteinander verbunden. Die Vorrichtung baut kompakt und gleicht Toleranzen aus.

    • The present invention provides a rigid modular holding with axial and radial compensation for multiple and universal application of all machining processes, engineering, machine building, and construction fields where ever applicable for rotary and static systems. Design of modular holding includes male and female portions (401,301) of joining parts machined to the required shape and clearances to accommodate modular locking rigidly with face butting (407, 308). Radial and axial run out adjustments is controlled by the grub screws (307, 306) and run out compensation can be achieved within micron. An Area used for clamping and designed within the area of joining parts results reduction in material and processing cost. Since, the material is not protruding out from the surface of the joining parts, esthetically looks good and convenient for designing multiple applications as it is not possible at present.
