      To provide a camshaft device in which lower torque drive of a camshaft can be realized, without complicating a structure of the camshaft device.
      [Means for Solution]
      An intake camshaft device 1 includes an intake camshaft 4, a first rolling bearing 15 and a second rolling bearing 16 for rotatably supporting both end parts of the intake camshaft 4, and a first sliding bearing 17 and a second sliding bearing 18 for rotatably supporting the intake camshaft 4 between the first and second rolling bearings 15, 16. The first rolling bearing 15 is arranged in a same plane as a rotation plane of a sprocket 9 for an intake cam. In other words, the first rolling bearing 15 is positioned in a plane P which is overlapped with a plurality of teeth of the sprocket 9 for the intake cam, and perpendicular to a center axis C. The first sliding bearing 17 is disposed adjacent to the first rolling bearing 15 backward in an axial direction.
