    • In connection with a wind power generator, it is desirable to safely operate a wind turbine without stopping even when a failure occurs in a measurement sensor such as an aerovane, while a power generation loss is avoided before the completion of the replacement or repair. A remote monitoring system includes a plurality of wind power generators located in the same site, each measuring a status of a peripheral environment by a measurement sensor; and a remote monitoring unit collecting data related to the peripheral environment of each wind power generator. When detecting a occurrence of a trouble in the measurement sensor of at least one wind power generator out of said plurality of wind power generators, the remote monitoring unit transmits data related to the peripheral environment measured by the measurement sensor of a different wind power generator other than the wind turbine generator for which the trouble occurs in said measurement sensor out of the plurality of wind turbine generators, to the wind turbine generator for which the trouble occurs in the measurement sensor. The wind power generator for which the trouble occurs in the measurement sensor continues to operate by using the data related to the peripheral environment which are transmitted from the remote monitoring unit.

    • It is described a wind turbine control system (100) for controlling an operation of a wind turbine (102) based on information provided by sensors (106) of the wind turbine. The wind turbine control system comprises a wind turbine controller (105) being arranged locally at the wind turbine and being adapted to adjust operation parameters of the wind turbine, and a central control unit (101) being arranged remote from the wind turbine. The wind turbine controller and the central control unit are adapted to communicate with each other. The central control unit comprises a module (107) for virtualizing a first computing device (103) and a second computing device (104), wherein the first computing device is adapted to monitor the information (a) provided by the sensors of the wind turbine and (b) received by the central control unit. The central control unit is adapted to generate a control signal based on information (a) being provided by the first computing device and (b) being indicative of the information provided by the sensors and is adapted to provide the control signal to the second computing device. The second computing device is adapted to generate an adjusting signal based on the control signal and is adapted to provide the adjusting signal to the wind turbine controller in order to control the operation of the wind turbine by adjusting the operation parameters of the wind turbine.
