    • The invention relates to a method for operating a thermochemical heat storage device (2), wherein by loading (100) of the thermochemical heat storage device (2) a first water vapour (40) is produced and is delivered to a heat exchanger (4), wherein by means of the heat exchanger (4) with at least partial release of the thermal energy thereof the first water vapour (40) is at least partially condensed to water (41) and wherein the water (41) is then pressurised. According to the invention, the pressurised water (41) is returned to the heat exchanger (4) and with at least partial take-up of the previously released thermal energy is at least partially vaporised to second water vapour (42), which second water vapour (42) is at least partially stored in a steam reservoir (8, 9).
