    • Providing a turbine wheel that includes, but not limited to: a plurality of blade parts and a scallop cut-out profile, the scallop cut-out profile being formed by cutting-out the back side wall part of the turbine wheel between the suction surface side of a blade part and the pressure surface side of the adjacent blade part, wherein the leakage flow on the rear side of the blade part is constrained so as to enhance the turbocharger efficiency. Providing the blade part 5 (i.e. the area between the scallop parts on the tip end side of the blade part) with the suction surface side extended part 25 in the neighborhood of the suction surface 21 of the blade part so that the thickness of the blade part on the tip end side of the scallop cut-out profile is increased; or, the pressure surface side extended part 32 in the neighborhood of the pressure surface 19 of the blade part so that the thickness of the blade part on the tip end side of the scallop cut-out profile is increased. Or, the positive/suction surface side extended parts are provided. Thereby, the extended width of the extended part is formed so that the width is an almost constant width along the camber line of the blade part from the tip end side to the root side of the blade, the projecting-out width part forming a strip area.
