摘要： A power generation glass module (2) movable and electrically connectable to a power transmission unit (4) configured to wirelessly transmit electricity to a power reception unit (5) disposed at a predetermined position outside the power generation glass module (2) includes: an openable and closable glass plate (10) having a principal surface; a solar cell module (20) provided on the principal surface of the glass plate (10) and including a solar cell configured to convert light into electricity; and a power transmission terminal (30) configured to supply the electricity from the solar cell module (20) to the power transmission unit (4) and move together with the power transmission unit (4) in response to opening and closing of the glass plate (10). The power transmission terminal (30) is drawn from an area of the solar cell module (20) which area is close to the power transmission unit (4), such that the power reception unit (5) faces the power transmission unit (4) when the glass plate (10) is fully closed, and in at least part of a range where the glass plate (10) is openable.

摘要： This disclosure provides connectors for smart windows. A smart window may incorporate an optically switchable pane. In one aspect, a window unit includes an insulated glass unit including an optically switchable pane. A wire assembly may be attached to the edge of the insulated glass unit and may include wires in electrical communication with electrodes of the optically switchable pane. A floating connector may be attached to a distal end of the wire assembly. The floating connector may include a flange and a nose, with two holes in the flange for affixing the floating connector to a first frame. The nose may include a terminal face that present two exposed contacts of opposite polarity.

摘要： A methods is provided for reliable and accurate detection of opening or closing of doors or drawers using output signals generated by a sensor, the output signals directly or indirectly representative of the acceleration of the sensor over time. Areas under a curve for acceleration, or representations thereof, are determined and occurrence of movement events identified through comparison of calculated areas with certain thresholds. Areas are considered which span between zero crossing points of the acceleration curve, such that all elements of the corresponding sum are of the same sign, and consequent area signals have maximal amplitude. Pairs of substantially equal and opposite area signals may be sought, occurring within a given time separation, these characteristic of an opening or closing motion, consisting of a first acceleration in a first direction followed by a second in an opposing direction. Apparatus for the reliable detection of opening or closing events is also provided.
