Wesentliche Elemente des Kabelübergangs sind ein an dem ersten Element befestigbares Fixiergehäuse, ein an dem zweiten Element befestigbares Lagergehäuse und ein zwischen dem Fixiergehäuse und dem Lagergehäuse bewegbar gelagertes Verbindungselement mit einem Kabelkanal, der zur Führung wenigstens eines Kabels zwischen dem Lagergehäuse und dem Fixiergehäuse ausgebildet ist. Ein wesentlicher Aspekt der Erfindung liegt darin, dass das Verbindungselement verschiebbar in wenigstens dem Lagergehäuse gelagert ist und durch eine Verschiebung des Verbindungselementes am Lagergehäuse eine Abstandsänderung zwischen dem Lagergehäuse und dem Fixiergehäuse innerhalb eines Ausgleichsbereiches ausgeglichen wird. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner eine Panikstange oder einen Panikbalken, bei dem Gehäuseelemente gleichzeitig Teil eines solchen Kabelübergangs sind, sowie eine Durchgangstüranordnung mit einem solchen Kabelübergang.
