摘要： The invention pertains to the field of jewellery, and particularly relates to ring-forming flexible jewellery such as necklaces or bracelets obtained by threading pearls on a link (1). The invention relates to a piece of jewellery including means (40, 50, 23, 24, 21, 13, 14) for placing all the pearls of said piece of jewellery under compression by tensioning the link made of a wear-resistant material. The invention also relates to a method for assembling this type of jewellery that advantageously uses said means and that makes it possible for any person without particular skills and holding a user’s manual explaining the method to achieve such a result. The means constituting the jewellery can thus be readily proposed in the form of a kit adapted for mail order selling for people fond of making such fancy jewellery.

摘要： The invention concerns a device for easy and fast arrangement of ornaments in the hair. Said device (1) comprises essentially a loop (2, 10-11), preferably pointed at one end (3) and crimped at the other end (4) by a collet (6). The buckle co-operates with the ornaments and/or active elements (7) consisting essentially of a support (8) adapted to be slipped or otherwise clamped or arranged on or about said loop (2), and said ornament itself (9) integral with said support. The support is slipped (8) onto said loop (2), a hair lock is passed into said loop, the support (8) bearing the ornament (9), (by being slid along said loop (2)), is transferred onto said hair lock, and the device (1) is removed.

摘要： A device for precisely spacing knots in a string that includes: a generally flat, rectangular board; a centered post projecting outwardly of and generally perpendicular to the board and for enabling tying the free end of the string about the post and enabling forming knots in the string upon tightening of same; and, a plurality of selectable measurement points on the board, aligned longitudinally, transversely of the board and extending outwardly from the post in equi-distantly spaced relation and for enabling positioning a predetermined point along the string at one of the selectable measurement points, the spacing between the string predetermined point and a knot formed at the post being determined by the spacing between the post and the selected measurement point. In use, a pre-determined point along the string is placed on the board at one of the selectable measurement points. The free end of the string is tied about the post. The free end of the string is pulled tightly to form a knot at the post. The spacing between the string predetermined point and the knot formed at the post is determined by the spacing between the post and the selected measurement point. The method is used in forming jewelry by interspersing beads between knots whose positions have been pre-selected, using the device and technique previously set forth.
