摘要： A method for preparing magnetic materials is disclosed. The magnetic materials are prepared by implanting low energy magnetic ions into a substrate and annealing with a charged particle beam. Magnetic materials comprising magnetic nanoclusters in the near-surface region of a substrate are also disclosed. The magnetic materials are useful in, for example, magneto-electronic devices such as magnetic sensors.

摘要： According to the present invention, if the outermost ceramic coating layer is a ϰ-Al2O3 coating layer, then certain microns of the ϰ-Al2O3 layer will be transformed into an α-Al2O3 by the instantaneous melting, vaporization and solidification. Further, according to the present invention, if the outermost coating layer of the ceramic coating layers is an α-Al2O3 coating layer, then the surface roughness will be enhanced since at least a portion of it will be melted, wherein the melted surface will be solidified with its surface flattened by the surface tension provided in a melted state.

摘要： Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von korrosionsgeschütztem Stahlblech, bei dem auf ein Stahlblech eine erste metallische Überzugsschicht aufgebracht wird, bei dem auf das mit der ersten metallischen Überzugsschicht versehene Stahlblech eine zweite metallische Überzugsschicht aufgebracht wird und bei dem nach dem Aufbringen der zweiten Überzugsschicht eine thermische Nachbehandlung des beschichteten Stahlblechs zur Ausbildung einer Diffusions- oder Konvektionsschicht durchgeführt wird. Durch das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren lässt sich auch großtechnisch kostengünstig korrosionsgeschütztes Stahlfeinblech herstellen, welches die Vorteile von reinen Zinküberzügen, wie große kathodische Schutzwirkung, hohe Duktilität und geringer Abrieb bei Umformung, verbindet mit den Vorteilen von Überzügen aus Zinklegierungen, wie gute Punktschweißbarkeit, gute Phosphatierbarkeit und Lackhaftung. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass das Stahlblech mit seinen Überzugsschichten im Zuge der thermischen Nachbehandlung durch auf mindestens eine seiner Oberflächen gerichtete Strahlungsenergie von hoher Energiedichte nur in einer an die von der Strahlungsenergie erfasste Oberfläche angrenzenden Schicht auf die für die Bildung der Diffusions- oder Konvektionsschicht erforderliche Temperatur erwärmt wird.

摘要： The present invention provides a novel carbon-based material in which carbons different in property are combined in such a manner as to be applicable to a device. The carbon-based thin film provides a carbon-based thin film 10 including first phases 1 that contain amorphous carbon and extend in a film thickness direction, and a second phase 2 that contains a graphite structure and intervenes between the first phases 1. In the thin film, at least one selected from the group consisting of the following a) to e) is satisfied: a) the second phase contains more graphite structures per unit volume than the first phases; b) a density of the second phase is larger than that of the first phases; c) an electric resistivity of the second phase is lower than that of the first phases; d) an elastic modulus of the second phase is higher than that of the first phases; and e) in the second phase, a basal plane of the graphite structure is oriented along the film thickness direction.
