    • Method of obtaining and separating valuable metallic elements from low-grade uranium ores and radioactive liquid wastes, as used herein, consists in feeding a liquid-solid suspension into the membrane system with the contactor with helical flow, whereas the solid is a known sorbent, preferably activated carbon or complexing agent, preferably soluble polymer, specifically polyacrylic acid. The use of activated carbon as a sorbent, concentration from c = 0.1 g/dcm 3 to c = 0.8 g/dcm 3 , and of the contactor with helical flow, at rotor rate from 800 rpm to 1,200 rpm will mean a virtual absence of the fouling phenomenon and the value of the retention coefficient equal to 60%. On the other hand, when a soluble polymer, specifically polyacrylic acid, is used as a complexing agent, the method as used herein consists in that at the concentration of polyacrylic acid from c = 0.2 g/dcm 2 to c = 0.2 g/dcm 2 , proportion c me /c polymer = 1.4, rotor rate of 1,800 rpm to 2,200 rpm, will mean a virtual absence of the fouling phenomenon and the value of the retention index equal to 98%. For the two options, the time necessary for binding the metallic ion equilibrium content was 6 times shorter compared with the prior art.
