摘要： The subject invention discloses a hydrogenated nitrile rubber latex composition which can be used in making films, coatings, adhesives and binders, having enhanced tensile properties, said hydrogenated nitrile rubber latex composition being comprised of a blend of (a) hydrogenated nitrile rubber latex, wherein the hydrogenated nitrile rubber in the latex is a highly crosslinked hydrogenated nitrile rubber, and (b) from about 5 phr to about 40 phr of a chlorinated paraffin wax. The present invention further discloses a hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition having enhanced tensile strength which is comprised of (a) a highly crosslinked hydrogenated nitrile rubber and (b) from about 5 phr to about 40 phr of a chlorinated paraffin wax.

摘要： Emissive coatings for flexible substrates, preferably elastomers or elastomers bonded to metal are disclosed. The coating composition is formed by combining parts (a) and (b) where part (a) comprises an organic solution or aqueous dispersion of a functional group containing polymer or copolymer and thermal conductive filler; and part (b) comprises a liquid curing component, for example a poly isocyanate, a carbodiimide, or an amino resin. The coating compounds can be applied to an substrate either before or after the substrate has been vulcanized. The coatings can be cured at ambient temperatures and provide heat dissipation over long term service at elevated temperatures.

摘要： The invention relates to an aqueous elastomer coating composition and to objects that have been coated with said composition. According to the invention, said aqueous elastomer coating composition consists of the following: (a) a polymer latex consisting of an elastomer, such as fluorine rubber, hydrated or carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber and/or acrylate rubber; (b) mineral fillers such as silicates/silicone oxides, silicic acids, pyrogenic silicic acids and/or carbonates, oxides, hydroxides of bi-to tetravalent metal cations; (c) cross-linking chemicals such as aminic, peroxidic, bisphenolic or sulfur-based cross-linking systems; optionally, dispersing agents and/or emulsifiers, organic and/or inorganic pigments, defoaming agents, age-resisting agents, heat sensitizers, thickeners, wetting agents, propelling agents, foam-stabilizing agents, coagulants, thixotropy agents, acid catchers such as MgO, Ca(OH)2, ZnO, PbO or hydrotalcite and adhesives; and (e) water, preferably in a demineralised form, as the dispersion medium for the elastomer coating compositions.

摘要： Elastomer coating composition are disclosed which cure at room temperature, and form highly flex-resistant, durable, and flexible protective layer on elastomers and provides excellent adhesion to elastomeric and metal substrates. The coating is a solvent solution of (A) a carboxylated hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer, and (B) a room temperature isocyanate curing component. Coated bonded elastomer-metal composites are obtained without an additional application of heat to cure the coating.

摘要： A dielectric film includes an elastomer, and metallic oxide particles having a particle diameter of 100 nm or less that are chemically bonded to the elastomer and are dispersed in the elastomer in a state of primary particles. A method for manufacturing the dielectric film includes: a chelating process of adding a chelating agent to an organometallic compound to produce a chelate compound of the organometallic compound; a sol manufacturing process of adding an organic solvent and water to the chelate compound to obtain a sol of metallic oxide particles produced by the hydrolytic reaction of the organometallic compound; a mixed solution preparing process of mixing the sol of the metallic oxide particles and a polymer solution containing a rubber polymer having functional groups that optionally react with hydroxy groups to prepare a mixed solution; and a film forming process of applying the mixed solution onto a substrate, and curing the resultant coating film to obtain a dielectric film.
