摘要： A coating agent comprising 50 to 99 parts by weight of a monomer or monomer mixture (M) composed of 50 to 100% by weight of a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate monomer (m-1) having two or more (meth)acryloyloxy groups and 0 to 50% by weight of a monofunctional (meth)acrylate monomer (m-2), and 1 to 50 parts by weight of colloidal silica, wherein the colloidal silica contains colloidal silica in a narrow and long form having an average diameter of 5 to 20 nm and an average length of 40 to 300 nm in an amount of 5 to 100% by weight based on the total colloidal silica weight; and a resin molded article having a coated layer obtained by hardening this coating agent, are disclosed. This colloidal silica-containing coating agent is excellent in appearance, hardness, abrasion resistance, weather resistance, adhesion with a substrate, no need of a solvent, and the like.

摘要： The invention relates to an aqueous dispersion for use as open time improver in a coating composition which aqueous polymer dispersion comprises a first polymer having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of from 2,000 to 120,000 (determined by gel permeation chromatography using a mixture of tetrahydrofurane and acetic acid as eluent), an acid value of from 30 to 150 mg KOH/g, and an ethylene-oxide wt % (on total solid polymer) of from 1 to 20 wt %, said first polymer dispersion being obtainable by free radical polymerization of a monomer mixture in the presence of at least one free-radical initiator and at least one surfactant, said monomer mixture comprising : a) 5 to 20 wt %, preferably 7 to 10 wt %, acid functional ethylenically unsaturated monomers or precursors thereof or ethylenically unsaturated monomers comprising ionic group precursors; b) 5 to 25 wt %, preferably 7 to 20 wt %, ethylenically unsaturated monomers containing polyethylene oxide, polyethylene glycol or mono-alkoxypolyethylene glycol moeity c) up to 90 wt % of non-ionic ethylenically unsaturated monomers other than a) or b); d) 0 to 10 wt % ethylenically unsaturated monomers with a functional group for cross-linking e) 0 to 10 wt % of chain transfer agents; f) up to 90 wt % non-ionic ethylenically unsaturated monomers other than c), wherein 30 to 90 wt %, more preferably 60 to 80 wt % comprise crosslinkable groups or precursors thereof; wherein the sum of a) through f) is 100 wt %. The invention further relates to a method for making the first polymer dispersion, the use of said aqueous dispersion as an open time improver in a coating composition, to aqueous coating compositions comprising a blend of at least a first aqueous polymer dispersion and a second aqueous polymer dispersion comprising a film-forming second polymer and to a method for making said coating composition.

摘要： A process for preparing binders for one-component paint systems has the following steps: (I) preparation of a polyurethane-alkyd resin component (A) composed of a mixture (a) of (a1) an unsaturated C6-C30 fatty acid with at least two non-conjugated double bonds, and (a2) an unsaturated C6-C30 fatty acid with at least two conjugated double bonds as esterified side polymer chains of the polyurethane-alkyd component (A); and (b) polyurethane units with anionic groups and/or groups which can be converted into anionic groups as main polymer chains of the polyurethane-alkyd resin component (A); (II) optional neutralisation of the groups in the polyurethane-alkyd resin component (A) which can be converted into anionic groups and their transfer into the aqueous dispersion or solution; and (III) preparation of the binder dispersion which contains the acrylate-modified polyurethane acrylate (A') by polymerising at least one ethylenically unsaturated, radically polymerisable monomer (c) which has substantially no other reactive functional groups besides the C-C- double bond in the dispersion prepared as under step (II) in the presence of a radical builder as polymerisation initiator.

摘要： The invention relates to the use of a polymer dispersion for producing anti-drumming compounds, wherein the polymer dispersion can be obtained by the emulsion polymerization of radically polymerizable monomers in the presence of at least one protective colloid, which is an amphiphilic graft copolymer. Preferred protective colloids are such that comprise a polyalkylene oxide main chain and vinyl ester-containing side chains. The invention also relates to corresponding anti-drumming compounds which contain the polymer dispersion and to a method for damping vibrations or oscillations of components in vehicles.

摘要： Present invention discloses a novel copolymer comprising an acrylate or methacrylate ester of low molecular weight oligomeric lactide copolymerized with basic monomer. These copolymers show unusual dissolution behavior in that they are soluble over a wide range of pH from 1.8 to 7.4. This unexpected solubility behavior can be exploited to develop pharmaceutical dosage forms.
