摘要： An organic waste composter (10) comprising a processing vessel (14) having at least one heating unit, a stirring mechanism, a means (46) for injection of air for composting waste, a waste inlet hatch (18), a waste input receptacle (19), a rotating auger (20) arranged to receive waste from said waste input receptacle (19), to cut said waste and to transport said waste to a first end of said processing vessel, and a heating unit (38) located proximal to a second end of said vessel (14). Said rotating auger (20) is operatively connected to a control unit (53) arranged to activate said rotating auger (20) periodically during a rotation period extending at least 15 seconds and being shorter than 10 minutes every 60 minutes. A method of composting organic waste comprising a) receiving waste material, b) inputting waste material into a first end section of a vessel (14) by rotating said auger (20), c) stirring the waste material in said vessel (14), d) heating the composted material at a second end section of said vessel (14), e) outputting composted material from said vessel (14), and f) rotating said auger (20) periodically during a rotation period extending at least 15 seconds and being shorter than 10 minutes every 60 minutes.

摘要： The invention relates to an aeration device for digestion pits, or similar waste disposal sites and a method for operating said aeration device. According to the invention, the extant aeration channels (1) are separated into aeration chambers (16), by dividing walls (15), with an aeration pipe (3) leading to each aeration chamber and terminating in said chamber. On the feed-side, the aeration pipes are connected by means of a stop-cock (13) and/or a flow regulator (14) with a compressed air supply distribution line. Furthermore, a closable leached water drainpipe (2) leads from each aeration chamber, whose outlet end opens out into a drainage device. The drainage channels (10), for leached water, which run alongside the aeration channels, have no dividing walls and have, on the front face thereof, a cover with a stopcock (18) arranged therein. The disclosed configuration permits the operation of the digestion pit with either forced ventilation or with chimney-effect ventilation.

摘要： A garbage disposing device includes a treatment chamber used to decompose food wastes by a microorganism, intake passage, exhaust passage, and a return path extending from a diverging portion in the exhaust passage to the treatment chamber. An exhaust airflow adjuster is provided at the diverging portion. A control unit controls the exhaust airflow adjuster such that after water and ammonia in an air exhausted from said treatment chamber are adsorbed by a dehumidifier provided in the exhaust passage, a part of the air is returned to the treatment chamber through the return path, and the remaining air is exhausted to the outside through a deodorizer. As a result, a small deodorizer is available, and the garbage disposing device can be small-sized as a whole. In addition, it is possible to save energy used for the decomposing treatment of the food wastes. In a regenerating operation for removing the adsorbed water and ammonia from the dehumidifier, the control unit controls the exhaust airflow adjuster such that the return path is closed at the diverging portion.
