Um die Reibschicht vor Beschädigungen durch Ausbrüche zu schützen wird vorgeschlagen, in der Reibschicht Kohlenstofffasern vorzusehen, die kürzer als die Kohlenstofffasern des Kernkörpers sind. Es sind verschiedene Möglichkeiten zur Herstellung eines Reibkörpers mit kurzen Fasern in der Reibschicht möglich.

摘要： Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines mit Kohlenstoffasern (16) verstärkten Verbundwerkstoffes (12) mit einer Siliziumkarbid und Molybdändisilizid aufweisenden Matrix (14), wobei die Matrix (14) aus einem Pulvergemisch von Siliziumkarbid, Kohlenstoff und Molybdändisilizid gebildet wird, das Pulvergemisch mit einem Binder versetzt wird, und wobei anschließend Kohlenstoffasern hinzugemischt werden, das so erhaltene Faser-Matrixgemisch in einer hierfür vorgesehenen Form unter Aufbringung höheren Drucks gepreßt und bei 120°C bis 140°C in der beabsichtigten Form ausgehärtet wird, der ausgehärtete Formkörper bei einer Temperatur zwischen 800°C bis 1000°C pyrolysiert wird, danach der Formkörper von außen mit flüssigem oder pastösem Silizium beaufschlagt wird und anschließend eine Wärmebehandlung in zwei Stufen erfolgt, nämlich zunächst eine Pyrolyse bei 800°C bis 1000°C und dann eine Auslagerung bei einer Temperatur oberhalb des Schmelzpunktes von Silizium, vorzugsweise bei 1500°C bis 1700°C.

The mat (1) of the present invention comprises inorganic fibrous substances intertwined with each other. The at least two layers includes: a first layer (14a) occupying a certain area from the first main face (10a) along a thickness direction of the mat (1), the first layer (14a) comprising a first long fibrous substance (15a) which comprises an inorganic fibrous substance, and a second layer (14b) adjacent to the first layer (14a), the second layer (14b) comprising a short fibrous substance (15b) which comprises an inorganic fibrous substance and which has an average fiber length shorter than an average fiber length of the first long fibrous substance (15a). The intertwined portion (12) extends from the first main face to the second main face (10a). The intertwined portion (12) comprises the first long fibrous substance (15a) and the short fibrous substance (15b) being more closely intertwined with each other than the inorganic fibrous substances in a portion except the intertwined portion.

摘要： A method is provided for producing insulation materials and insulation for high temperature applications using novel castable and powder-based ceramics. The ceramic components produced using the proposed process offers (i) a fine porosity (from nano-to micro scale); (ii) a superior strength-to-weight ratio; and (iii) flexibility in designing multilayered features offering multifunctionality which will increase the service lifetime of insulation and refractory components used in the solid oxide fuel cell, direct carbon fuel cell, furnace, metal melting, glass, chemical, paper/pulp, automobile, industrial heating, coal, and power generation industries. Further, the ceramic components made using this method may have net-shape and/or net-size advantages with minimum post machining requirements.
