摘要： Sag in ceiling tiles is reduced by the present coated ceiling tile and method which decreases sag in the coated ceiling tiles. Calcined gypsum and water are combined to form a coating which is applied to the back side of a base ceiling tile in a thin layer of about 100 micrometer to about 1000 micrometers. The coating optionally includes a set time modifier. This method makes a coated ceiling tile from a base ceiling tile having a front side and a back side opposing the front side. The coating is applied to the back side of the base ceiling tile, the coating comprising an interlocking matrix of calcium sulfate dihydrate. Optionally, remnants of the set time modifier are present within interstices in the gypsum matrix. The remnants of the set time molecule include ions, molecules, particles or combinations thereof.

摘要： A process and apparatus for creating an acoustically absorbent porous panel comprises the steps of dispensing cement and fibers with a dry mixer to create a dry mix and aqueous mixing water, surfactant and air with an aqueous mixer to create a foam. The process and apparatus provides for combining and mixing the foam and dry mix in a combining mixer to form a foamed cementitious material comprising on a wet basis about 53% to about 68% by weight cement, about 17% to about 48% by weight water, about 0.05% to about 5% by weight fibers, and about 0.01% to about 10% by weight surfactant. The foamed cementitious material is then dried or cured in a drying chamber. The dried foamed cementitious material may then textured with an embossing roller. The cementitious material provides good acoustical performance with enhanced durability and moisture resistance.

摘要： The object of the present invention is a mortar for buildings that contains foamed polystyrene and cement. The mortar contains the foamed polystyrene and a part of the cement in the form of a ground material and it contains 50-200 kg of unbound, anhydrous cement for every 1 m 3 of ground material, where the ground material includes granules of 0.5-10 mm and is made by grinding pressed foamed concrete that has been allowed to stand and contains foamed polystyrene. For the production of the mortar, the pressed foam concrete that has been allowed to stand and contains polystyrene foam is ground into granules no larger than 10 mm, cement is added, then water is added thereto upon application. Such mortar can be used to create various building structures that include a frame structure (40), a foam concrete panel (60) affixed to the frame structure (40) and mortar (14) applied into the interspaces of the frame structure (40).
