摘要： A water treatment system of the present invention for effluent generated in a plant facility includes: a flue gas treatment system 18 that performs treatment of boiler flue gas 12 from a boiler 11; and a spray drying device 23 that includes a spraying unit, which sprays effluent 22 generated, for example, in a cooler 21 of the plant facility, and that performs spray drying using part 12a of the boiler flue gas 12. The water treatment system draws the effluent 22 is discharged into the spray drying device 23 so as to dry the sprayed liquid by the part 12a of the flue gas 12. It is thus not necessary to separately perform treatment of the effluent 22 in an industrial effluent treatment facility and it is possible to eliminate the need of draining the effluent 22 generated in the plant.

[SOLUTION]
Seawater is heated by a heat-collecting device based on solar light, and the heated seawater is injected to one or more mist-forming structure formed as a rotor comprising a plurality of collision members formed to extend radially, to form a mist. Water vapor generated from the formed mist is introduced to a heat exchanger arranged in a side-by-side relation to the mist-forming structure in a horizontal direction through a demister, while being carried on an airstream by an airstream-forming device. Low-temperature seawater flows through the heat exchanger vertically from a lower side to an upper side thereof. The introduced water vapor is condensed into freshwater by cold energy of the seawater, and the freshwater is collected.

The system includes a humidification device and a solution flow path for flow of a solution to be concentrated to the humidification device. The humidification device includes humidification media to facilitate evaporation of liquid from the solution to be concentrated to gas as the solution to be concentrated passes through the humidification media thereby concentrating the solution. The method includes flowing a solution to be concentrated along a flow path to a humidification device including humidification media, flowing a gas through the humidification media, and flowing the solution to be concentrated through the humidification media. There is evaporation of liquid from the solution to the gas as the solution passes through the humidification media thereby concentrating the solution and producing a humidified gas. The solution to be concentrated may be salt water and the gas may be air.
