摘要： This invention concerns a fluid purification device. The device has container, a nozzle and a removable filter element. The container is preferably a bottle and has at least partially flexible sidewalls so that it is collapsible from a first, operative condition into a second, inoperative condition. The nozzle is connectable to the container and defines a first fluid flow path along which fluid flows when, in use, filling the container and a second fluid flow path along which fluid flows when, in use, dispensing fluid from the container. The removable filter element is carried by the nozzle such that it is positioned in the first fluid flow path so that the fluid is filtered when filling the container and positioned outside the second fluid flow path so that the flow of fluid is unobstructed by it when dispensing fluid from the container. The invention also concerns a method of filtering a fluid.

摘要： A simple to operate personal water purification device using membrane type filtration with almost constant pressure exerted to the membrane filter during the operation. The water inlet is connected to the high pressure chamber via a non-return valve. The water from the chamber is injected via the piston into the already pressurized circuit which maintenance filter working pressure. A pressurized circuit is formed in the concentrate cylinder and the filtration unit. The fluid circulation within the pressurized circuit is enabled via motion of a circulation piston. The permeate outlet produces potable water while the remaining concentrate is returned to the return chamber. The circulation piston and high pressure piston are connected via piston coupling and operated, preferably, by hand activating reciprocal motion of the piston rod. The membrane type filtration can be a ultra-filtration membrane, a nano-filtration membrane or a reverse osmosis membrane.

As a consequence of activation of the pump assembly, the filtering portion receives unfiltered liquid from the inlet port, the output port receives from the filtering portion only liquid traversing the filtering medium in a first direction, and the flush port receives from the filtering portion liquid traversing the filtering medium in a second direction different from the first direction.

摘要： A supplement dispensing closure couplable to an outlet of a container, such as a water container. When the closure is coupled to the container, liquid exiting the container through the outlet flows through a supplement retention area that retains a dissolvable supplement body inside the closure as the liquid flows therethrough and dissolves the dissolvable supplement body. A user may select one or more dissolvable supplement bodies and insert them inside the supplement retention area for dissolution in the liquid as it flows through the supplement retention area. The closure may include a selectively openable and closable cap portion. The closure includes a selectively removable filter assembly configured to filter one or more components from the liquid before or after it flows through the supplement retention area.
