摘要： A separator for separating granular material, such as seed, fertilizer or pesticide, from a material-laden airflow (FI) includes a separator zone (Z) having an inlet (11) for a material-laden airflow, a material outlet (13) and an air outlet (12, 12′), and at least two separator parts (15, 15′), which extend only substantially along a material flow (FM) in the separator zone (Z) and between which is formed a separator gap (12, 12′), which is sufficiently narrow to allow air, but not the granular material, to pass through it. At the material outlet (13), the separator gap (12, 12′) is at least partially open, viewed in a direction which is substantially parallel with the material flow (FM), so that material which gets stuck in the separator gap (12, 12′) is allowed to leave this by means of displacement principally along the material flow (FM).

摘要： A pneumatic conveying system transports plastic pellets from a manufacturing source (11-13) to a bulk silo (41-43) for storage before being delivered to the ultimate production utilization of the plastic pellets. Multiple types or multiple sources of plastic pellets can be fed through a common pneumatic conveying conduit (25) to respective bulk silos (41-43) for temporary storage with diverter valves (19a,19b) being utilized to direct product into and out of the common conveying conduit (25). Expanded elbow fittings (45) are deployed at each directional change in the conveying lines (21-23,25) to eliminate the creation of streamers at conduit bends. The plastic pellets are conveyed at a medium velocity between dense and dilute phases to provide a gentle conveying operation. A closed loop air supply system is used for dedusting devices (50) providing a final removal of dust and debris from the stored product before being delivered to the ultimate utilization facility.

摘要： A pedestal (16) for use with an adhesive melter (14) adapted for melting adhesive particulates includes a support structure (38), a hopper (18), and a flow tube (20). The support structure has an upper portion (60) adapted to support the adhesive melter. The hopper is connected to the support structure and positioned generally below the upper portion of the support structure. In addition, the hopper has an opening (58) adapted for receiving adhesive particulates for storage therein. The flow tube (20) has a first end portion (24) and a second end portion (26). The first end portion is fluidly connected to the hopper, and the second end portion is fluidly connected to the adhesive melter. Furthermore, the flow tube is configured for moving adhesive particulates from the hopper to the adhesive melter via an air pressure differential created between the first and second end portions of the flow tube.
