    • An exemplary implementation of a powder product unloading and storage apparatus has a single, preferably sealed cabinet, such as a glove box, for holding, accessing, and unloading the contents of a drum into the cabinet, wherein the cabinet includes a system for minimizing, ameliorating or eliminating the release of dust to the atmosphere. A rotary spout dispenses and directs the product entering into the cabinet to a preselected storage hopper which has been selected from a plurality of storage hoppers. The plurality of storage hoppers are preferably all held within a closed or filtered environment such that release of product to the atmosphere is reduced, ameliorated, or eliminated.

    • The invention relates to a method for distributing a flow of bulk material amongst several sub-flows. The method is characterised in that the flow of bulk material accumulates in an essentially vertically oriented pipe; in that the sub-flows branch off from the accumulated flow of bulk material and in that the sub-flows are led over a horizontal or slightly inclined section so that a bank forms inside and blocks the sub-flow. The bulk material is then removed from the sub-flow by vibration, the bank block being constantly replaced by the particles which slide down correspondingly. The invention also relates to a device for distributing a flow of bulk material amongst several sub-flows, comprising a supply container (1) located upstream. At least one essentially vertical distribution pipe (2) is provided downstream of said supply container. The distribution pipe (2) has at least one part which branches off (3), with a branching-off pipe (31) connected thereto. Said branching-off pipe (31) has a section (32) which is positioned at a slightly smaller angle downstream than the angle of the bank of bulk material.
