摘要： The invention relates to a human transport device (1), such as in particular an escalator or a moving walkway, comprising a plurality of tread elements (3) connected into an endless transport belt (2), at least one drive unit (4) for driving the transport belt (2), and a monitoring apparatus for detecting a faulty arrangement of at least one tread element (3) in the transport belt (2), wherein the tread elements (3) of the driven transport belt (2) pass through a transport region (8) and a return region (9) between a first return station (6) and a second return station (7). The monitoring apparatus (5) has a detection means (10) and at least one triggering unit (11), wherein the detection means (10) is arranged in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the human transport device (1) below the tread elements (3) of the transport region (8) between the first return station (6) and the second return station (7). The detection means (10) is connected to the at least one triggering unit (11), wherein the triggering unit (11) is designed to actuate in case of mechanical influence on the detection means (10).

摘要： An automated tensioning system is provided for a conveyor. The tensioning system includes a spring housing with a lead screw/drive shaft assembly located therein that has a pushing face that extends out of one housing end. A spring compression plate is threadingly engaged with the lead screw. A plate indicator is located on the spring compression plate. A tensioner spring is located between the tensioner spring support provided by a first housing end and the spring compression plate. A sensor is located on the spring housing that is configured to detect a position of the plate indicator. A driven wheel, rotationally engaged with the drive shaft and axially slideable thereon, is driven by a motor to drive the driven wheel and rotate the lead screw and advance or retract the face so that a desired tension is maintained.

摘要： A device including a chain strand where a contact point of a pivoting arm rests and slides on the chain of the chain strand. The pivoting arm is mounted on the shaft. The pivoting arm is coupled with the source of a compressive force in a form of a weight or a torsion spring. The pivoting arm is coupled with the shaft and therefore with the indicator of tension of the chain strand. The compressive force compensates for the change in resistance and lengthening of the chain when the chain conveyor is running, wherein its chain strand has been pre-tensioned by the basic pre-tensioning force induced by the tensioning device. The co-acting of the pre-tensioning force and the compressive force creates the operating tension which is not only indicated but also optimized by the device of the invention depending on a change in resistance in the chain strand.

摘要： An escalator is provided with a caliper disc brake (2) for stopping movement of the steps in cases of emergency. The disc (4) is mounted on the main drive sprocket shaft (6), and the caliper (16) is normally held away from the disc (4). When power is removed from the drive, the caliper (16) is set on the disc (4) to stop further movement of the steps. The braking torque of the brake assembly (2) is adjustable to allow use of one basic assembly with escalators having different rises. The adjustment is accomplished by moving the center of gravity of the brake pads toward or away from the pivot axis (D) of the brake lever. The brake can also be finely tuned at installation to provide an optimum stopping distance and time so that a too abrupt stop is avoided.
