摘要： A method of bundling primary packages of absorbent articles into secondary packages includes advancing first and second films in a stretched state in a machine direction. At least two primary packages of absorbent articles are advanced in the machine direction between the first and second films. The primary packages are compressed in a first direction, wherein the first direction is orthogonal to the machine direction. The primary packages are advanced in a second direction, wherein the second direction is opposite the machine direction. The first and second films are bonded together to form a bonded region. The first and second films compress the primary packages of absorbent articles in the first direction, forming a secondary package around the primary packages of absorbent articles. The bonded region is cut to form a first bond on a first secondary package and a second bond on a second secondary package.

摘要： This invention is to replace the need for a corrugated carton by wrapping an article with a heat shrinkable bubble wrap film. Heat shrinking the bubble wrap will allow the bubble wrap to shrink sufficiently to conform to an article such as a group of containers, e.g. bottles. Because of the inability of the bubble wrap film to tightly shrink around the containers, the containers can move and bump each other. To ensure stability, the bubble wrapped article is film wrapped with a heat shrink film and heat shrunk to provide an article that does not require a corrugated box for to ensure the integrity of the containers

摘要： A plant for wrapping products by means of plastic film comprises a line (11) for conveying the products (12) in sequence and vertical-wrapping stations (13) which are arranged along the line. Each station (13) comprises a wrapping system (14) with a strip of film arranged transversely with respect to the line so as to wrap a product which passes through the station. These wrapping systems (14) can be raised in a controllable manner so as to allow a product to pass through the station without being wrapped by the film. The various stations (13) are able to receive different types of film and can be controlled so that only the film which is required to be wrapped around a particular product is in the lowered position during passing of the product. It is thus possible to wrap products of varying height by selecting in each case the station with the film of appropriate height.
