摘要： Provided is a conveyance seat with excellent operability in which an engagement between an engagement portion and a support portion can appropriately be canceled and the engagement portion and the support portion can appropriately be engaged with each other again. A conveyance seat of the present invention includes: a seat base; a support portion which supports the occupant from the back side; a flip-up mechanism which flips up the seat base; a biasing member which biases the support portion forward so that the support portion is inclined forward; an engagement portion which is engaged with the support portion so as to hold the support portion in a upright state against the biasing force of the biasing member; a cancel mechanism which cancels the engagement between the engagement portion and the support portion by using the flip-up operation using the flip-up mechanism; and a return mechanism which performs a return operation of returning the support portion from a state where the engagement with the engagement portion is canceled by the cancel mechanism to a state where the support portion is engageable with the engagement portion. The return mechanism performs the return operation in accordance with the inclination angle of the support portion inclined forward by the biasing force of the biasing member after the engagement between the engagement portion and the support portion is canceled.

摘要： A seat device for a vehicle is provided in which a dynamic damper (D) is formed of a weight (15) and an elastic member (16) supporting the weight (15) so as to be capable of vibrating, and the elastic member (16) is retained on a frame (6, 10, 12) or a cushion member (13) of a seat (S) installed in the vehicle, wherein the weight (15) is formed into a polyhedron whereas the elastic member (16) is formed into a sheet shape, and the weight (15) is covered and supported by the sheet-shaped elastic member (16). This enables the weight to be supported simply by the elastic member, and the dynamic damper to be provided at low cost.

摘要： A vehicle seat includes a seat back having a support frame coupled to a seat foundation. The seat back also further includes a deformable seat shell adapted to assume various shapes between initial position and final positions in response to variable rearward loads applied by a seated passenger. The seat shell is coupled to the support frame by a compliant shell-motion controller via upper and lower motion-control links. The motion-control links allow pivotal motion, and at least one of the links includes a spheroidal joint. A link foundation extends between and interconnects the upper and lower motion-control links and is coupled to the support frame so that the link foundation does not move during seat shell deformation. The shell-motion controller may be pre-assembled as part of a backrest or the motion-control links may be formed after the link foundation is attached to the support frame.
