摘要： The invention relates to a method for producing an ophthalmic product comprising a) obtaining a preformed silicone hydrogel contact lens that is free of any coating thereon and free of a polymeric surfactant; b) placing the preformed silicone hydrogel contact lens in a container containing a pre-autoclave packaging solution, wherein the pre-autoclave packaging solution is a buffered saline and including the polymeric surfactant; c) sealing the container to a sealed package that comprises the preformed silicone hydrogel contact lens immersed in the pre-autoclaved packaging solution; and d) autoclaving the sealed package containing the pre-formed silicone hydrogel contact lens therein for at least 30 minutes to obtain the ophthalmic product.

The invention is achieved by packaging and storing a hydrogel lens with two or more leachable polymeric lubricants incorporated therein in a relatively viscous packaging solution including a relatively low molecular weight polyethylene glycol (PEG) and a viscosity-enhancing hydrophilic polymer. The present invention also provides methods for making contact lens products of the invention.

摘要： Methods of producing silicone hydrogel ophthalmic lenses include contacting one or more delensed silicone hydrogel ophthalmic lens with a liquid composition that contains alcohol, water, and a surfactant. The methods can be steps of an extraction/hydration procedure used in the production of silicone hydrogel contact lenses. In some examples, contacting silicone hydrogel ophthalmic lens products with a liquid composition that contains alcohol, water, and a surfactant can significantly reduce or prevent surface distortion of the ophthalmic lens resulting from the extraction procedure. Some methods include subsequently contacting the silicone hydrogel ophthalmic lens with a liquid composition consisting essentially of water and a surfactant.

It can be released from the soft hydrogel contact lens into the eye of a wearer when being worn so as to strengthen and stabilize the tear film lipid layer and alleviate the dryness of the eye.
