    • A printer with an automatic cutter can discharge cut-offs from a narrow paper exit in a stable condition.     • A cutting tool for cutting sheets of materials, such as, for example, sheets of building materials. The cutting tool includes a base defining a support surface. The base includes a slot extending through the support surface along at least a portion of the base. The cutting tool further includes a handle having a proximate end pivotally engaged with respect to the base. The handle is pivotally movable with respect to the base between an open position and a closed position. The cutting tool further includes a blade integrated or positioned with respect to the proximate end of the handle.     • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schneid- und Transportwalze (1) und ein Verfahren zum Schneiden von Materialbahnen (7), die auf der Umfangsfläche (3) der Schneid- und Transportwalze anliegen.
      Dabei wird das Durchtrennen der Materialbahnen (7) mit Hilfe einer Schneidvorrichtung (4), die sich in ihrer Ruhestellung im wesentlichen innerhalb der Mantelfläche der Schneid- und Transportwalze (1) befindet und die zumindest ein Messer (9) aufweist, das beim Schneiden der Materialbahn durch eine Öffnung (6) der Mantelfläche der Schneid- und Transportwalze hindurchgreift.
      Die Schneidbewegung, welche bei dem Schneidvorgang von den Schneidflächen (9a, 9b) des mindestens einen Messers ausgeführt wird, weist hierbei rotatorische Komponenten auf, wobei die Rotationsbewegungen des zumindest einen Messers (9) jeweils um Achsen (D, 36) verlaufen, die entweder parallel oder in spitzem Winkel zu einem Lot auf der Ebene stehen, welche von den Radial- (r) und Axial- (z) Koordinaten der Schneid- und Transportwalze aufgespannt wird.
