    • A suction extraction device has a blower (23), a suction extraction head (26), a duct (19) from the suction extraction head (26) to the blower (23), a dust filter (24), and a collecting vessel (25) for the dust that is separated off at the dust filter (24). The suction extraction head has a tubular hollow chamber (28), arranged around a working axis (13), for accommodating the attachment section (21) of the vacuum drill (4). In the hollow chamber (28) there is arranged a flow sensor (37), which has a sensor surface (44) facing toward the working axis (13) and which is provided for outputting a measurement signal (41) which is indicative of an air flow striking the sensor surface (44). An evaluation device (38) outputs a fault signal (42) in response to the measurement signal (41) if the measurement signal (41) is lower than a threshold value (43) for at least a predefined duration (T) and suppresses the fault signal (42) if the measurement signal (41) exceeds the threshold value (43) within the predefined duration (T). A signalling device (39) indicates the fault signal (42) to a user.
