The opening (80a) is provided on the placing base (80) so that the one pair of cutting blades (21) and the one pair of leg portions (10i) of the staple (10) inserted into the workpiece (P) pass through the opening (80a). The pressing portion (23) that is provided in the opening (80a) of the placing base (80) and suppresses deformation of the workpiece (P) caused by a force applied to the workpiece (P) from the cutting blades (21) when the cutting blades (21) penetrate the workpiece (P).

摘要： A stapler (10) having a detached base (14) supporting an anvil and a first magnetic element (16), and a stapling assembly (50) for ejecting staples from a magazine port (58). The stapling assembly (50) supports a second magnetic element (64) positioned for magnetic coupling to the base to align the anvil (14) with the magazine port (58). Accordingly, the staple-driving assembly (50) and detached anvil-supporting base are not mechanically coupled. Instead, the stapling assembly (50) and base (12) are magnetically couplable. The magnet (16a) coupling feature eliminates throat depth limitations and allows for staple placement at any desired location on a sheet of any size. 摘要： Power spring configurations for a spring energized fastening device includes a compact double torsion power spring and two opposed compact single torsion springs. Simplified structures to hold the springs in a stable pre-loaded position are disclosed. Each coil has forward extending arms including an angled portion and forward vertically coincident portions. The double torsion spring has a self-locking crossing geometry to hold a pre-loaded rest position. The opposed two springs have a bridge and a mandrel to hold the rest position. A lever presses arms of the spring between a striker and the coil including a compact nesting condition. A tab of the striker extends forward to provide a release edge and a positioning torque bias upon the striker.
