    • Automatic plant for treating the surface of products, such as moulded parts of rigid polyurethane material, adapted to clean and degrease the surface of such products before they are subsequently painted or similarly finished by some other surface finishing method. The plant comprises a plurality of carts (16) carrying the products, arranged to roll along guiding rails (8, 9; 10) through a treatment station (15), from a loading station (CA) to an unloading station (SC) where said product are respectively loaded on and unloaded from said carts (16). The treatment station comprises an enclosed booth (15) in which there is arranged a tool (43) for spraying the sand or any other appropriate hard abrasive material on to the outer surfaces of the products, said tool being supported by guiding means (42, 48, 60, 62) adapted to cause it to alternately displace on different planes as driven by oleodynamic motors (49, 54, 63, 75) under volumetric oil control in accordance with the amplitude of the different movements to be each time completed by said tool.
