    • The invention relates to a fluid product dispensing pump (100; 200; 300) consisting of: a push rod (120; 220; 320) comprising a support wall (121; 221; 321) defining an outer support surface (1211; 2211; 3211) and an inner surface (1212; 2212; 3212), and a peripheral skirt (122; 222; 322) which extends from the inner surface of the support wall; a pump chamber (1) comprising an inlet check valve and an outlet; a dispensing port (125; 225; 325) through which the fluid product is dispensed; a main piston (136; 236; 336) which is used to vary the volume of the pump chamber; and a differential piston (131, 132, 133; 231, 232, 233; 331, 332, 333) which can move inside the pump chamber in response to a pressure variation therein. According to the invention, the differential piston can move away from the support wall when the pressure in the pump chamber increases and the push rod and the differential piston can move along an actuation axis (X) which extends essentially perpendicular to the support wall. The invention is characterised in that the differential piston is formed as a single piece together with a mobile inlet check valve member (138; 238; 338) which co-operates with an inlet check valve seat (1161; 2161; 3161).

This dispensing apparatus (10) reduces variations in the shot weight dispensed, by the metering of the fluid commencing at the point at which the piston enters the second portion of its stroke blocking off the inlet.

The piston comprises at least one upper sealing lip (52), making a sealed contact with said pump body (10). The pump comprises a stop body (80), such as a ferrule, arranged on the upper edge of the pump body (10) and cooperating with said piston (50) to define the rest position thereof, characterised in that the upper lip (52) of the piston (50) comprises a first lip section (53) which cooperates in a sealed manner with the pump body (10) and a second lip section (54) cooperating in a sealed manner with said ferrule (80) in the rest position. Said first and second sections of the lips (53, 54) are approximately parallel and spaced radially one about the other.
