摘要： Aerator kit comprising a body defining a fluid-flow channel, and a nozzle insert disposed inside said body as such forming together a venturi aerator which is useful for aerating aqueous waste. The aerator can be used submerged as a part of an aerobic digester, in which gas or air flow into the nozzle inlet while drawing liquid through a peripheral hole in the aerators body and cause mixing. The aerator can be also used as an above ground aerator in which liquid is pumped into the nozzle inlet while drawing air through said peripheral hole. In an another embodiment the aerator could be also used for adding additive to a gas or liquid.

摘要： An eductor (100) for mixing liquids and solid particles includes a nozzle (110), an initial mixing chamber (150), a first diffuser (160), an intermediate mixing chamber (168) and a second diffuser (170). The nozzle includes a semicircular nozzle outlet (134) that is offset from a centrally-located first axis. Motive flow is accelerated through the nozzle through a first and second acceleration segment. Solid particles are added to the motive flow in the initial mixing chamber and directed to the first diffuser. Each diffuser includes an acceleration (162, 172) and a deceleration segment (166, 176) separated by an elliptically-shaped throat (164, 174). The intermediate mixing chamber is located between the first and second diffusers.

摘要： In a multi-pass system for purifying oil or other liquids, an improved apparatus and method for mixing air with the contaminated liquid for separation after a phase change from liquid to gas. The contaminated liquid is drawn from a reservoir (10) by a pump (14), filtered (18), and heated (20), and atmospheric air is induced into the contaminated liquid downstream of the heater by an eductor (22, 50) which promotes the phase change from liquid to vapor. The liquid/contaminant mix, which now includes entrained air, is passed immediately through a second eductor (22, 60), the compressibility of the air in the mix, followed by expansion of the compressed air as the mix exits the second eductor, causing intimate contact of air and contaminant, thereby promoting the stripping of the contaminant from the liquid. The air/liquid/contaminant mix is then routed to a level controlled separation tank (24), water vapor, contaminants, and condensate being released from the tank in the space above the pooled liquid. Purified, dry liquid is drawn from the tank by a second pump (14) and delivered back to the reservoir.

摘要： Liquid treatment apparatus comprises at least two chambers being first and second chambers through which a fluid can flow. The two chambers are separated by at least one choke nozzle which has an entrance in the first chamber and an exit in the second chamber. The choke nozzle (1) comprises a converging section at its entrance (3), a throat section (4), a backward-facing step (5) immediately after the throat section (4), and an exit section at its exit (6) wherein the exit section (6) diverges from the step (5). Similarly constructed mixing nozzles (1) may be included in the apparatus. The apparatus is especially useful in processes requiring a gas to be entrained in a fluid so that the gas is in the form of very small bubbles that do not tend to coalesce and flash off such as in the dissolution of gold and other precious metals from ore in the removal of arsenic from an ore.

摘要： Provided is an apparatus for removing smoke and poisonous gas. The apparatus includes a body configured to include a flux unit which supplies water and a nozzle which is connected to the flux unit and has a narrower width than the flux unit, a frame configured to surround the body and include a suction part for removing smoke, and a heat sensitive unit fixed to seal the nozzle. When the flux unit, nozzle and frame sprays fluid with a certain pressure at high speed through the nozzle, pressure energy of the fluid is changed to velocity energy, and a vacuum state is formed in a suction room at a low pressure due to a fast speed. In order for an operation to be performed as a vacuum ejector for sucking another fluid, the suction part is positioned surrounding the nozzle, and the frame is provided to surround the heat sensitive unit. A negative pressure explained in Bernoulli's theorem is generated to form a vacuum in the space between the nozzle and the mixing chamber, thus enabling the suction of smoke and poisonous gas. The smoke and poisonous gas are mixed with water in the mixing chamber so as to be trapped in the water or dissolved and dispersed in the water. The suction part is formed in the area which encloses the nozzle such that the suction part can operate together with a vacuum ejector. The frame is arranged so as to enclose the heat sensitive unit.

The process according to the invention is characterized in that a chemical stream from the chemical feed orifice (14) and a dilution fluid stream from the dilution fluid feed orifice (18) are added to a fluid stream and the fluid stream, after addition of chemical stream and dilution fluid stream, is supplied, preferably sprayed, via an outlet orifice (60), into a process stream (70), especially accelerated through a nozzle.
