    • The invention provides an apparatus capable of producing a product that is highly mixed and dispersed to a quasi-perfect level in a time as short as possible and has an extremely simple arrangement to make sure processing cost is pushed down. The mixing/dispersing apparatus for a liquid/liquid mixture comprises an elongated thin tube 1 into which the liquid/liquid mixture flows, an inlet 2 that is provided at one end of the elongated thin tube to receive the liquid/liquid mixture, an outlet 3 that is provided at the other end to discharge the liquid/liquid mixture, and a mixture pumping means 4 for allowing the mixture to be fed under pressure into the elongated thin tube at a flow rate exceeding a critical Reynolds number. Two liquid storage boxes 2a and 3a are provided: one located before the inlet provided at one end of the elongated thin tube and the other located after the outlet, and a plurality of elongated thin tubes are provided between both the liquid storage boxes.

    • A spray nozzle assembly including a hollow nozzle body (11) having an air inlet orifice (21) through which a pressurized air stream is directed into the body, a liquid inlet orifice (19) through which a pressured liquid flow stream is directed into the body, an impingement member (55) disposed within the body for breaking up the liquid and air flow streams and preatomizing the liquid, and a nozzle tip (15) mounted at the discharge end of the body defining a discharge orifice (78).
