摘要： A binding (1) for a vehicle (3), such as a skate for skating on ice or a ski. The binding has an upper chassis section (6) and a lower chassis section (7), which are interconnected by means of coupling means (8). The upper chassis section and the lower chassis section (7) are arranged to be rollable relative to each other in the vehicle's (3) longitudinal direction. The binding (1) includes a first (12) and a second contact surface (14), at least one of the first and the second contact surface being curved. Thereby a stepless rolling motion between the upper chassis and the lower chassis is provided for, allowing the chassis to rock both backwards and forwards in relation to each other.

The runner-blade assembly may be removably attached to first and second cups that are optionally removably attached to the sole of a skate boot. The first and second cups optionally are removably attachable at multiple lateral locations on the sole. Mounting plates to which the first and second cups are mounted may be included to provide damping interfaces between the first and second cups and the boot sole. The first and second cups may be separately removable from the sole such that the first cup may be replaced with a third cup (for example, a cup having a different stiffness than the first cup) without removal of the second cup.

摘要： An ice skate runner holder comprising an elongated frame which has a front pedestal, a rear pedestal and a bridge portion therebetween. The bridge portion joins the front and rear pedestals thereby defining an intermediate opening in the runner holder. The frame also has an interface portion adapted to receive a blade runner; the bridge portion having a hollow tubular configuration which increases the torsional rigidity of the said runner holder. The runner holder may also comprise a resilient reinforcement member extending on the bridge portion to increase the resistance to deflection of the runner holder.
