摘要： A golf pitch mark repairer (101) is adapted to be removably retained on an extremity of a golf club, thereby allowing a golfer to utilize the reach afforded by the golf club to facilitate repair of the pitch mark. The pitch mark repairer (101) comprises a sleeve (103) for receiving the golf club extremity, and a retaining mechanism in the form of resilient tabs (111a, 111b) adapted to resist movement of the golf club relative to the pitch mark repairer (101). The golf club extremity is inserted with a sliding collar (117) positioned towards closed end (105) of sleeve (103). The sleeve (103) comprises windows (116a, 116b) through which respective portions of resilient tabs (111a, 111b) are urged to protrude outwardly when the golf club extremity is inserted. Thereafter the sliding collar (117) is engaged by sliding it along the sleeve (103) towards its open end (107). This acts to urge tabs (111a, 111b), and in particular respective valley portions (114a, 114b) thereof, into tighter engagement with the putter handle, resulting in a strong grip on the putter handle.

摘要： A golf ball marker (30) is carried in open display on a fabric article of golf clothing or other fabric golf accessory and remains in position due to the force of magnetism. To produce this effect, a layer of magnetic material (24) is secured in position in contact with a concealed side of a layer of fabric (22) in the article of golf clothing or other golf accessory. The golf ball marker (30) is constructed of a ferrous material so that when it is placed into contact with an exposed surface of the same layer of fabric (22) against which the magnetic material is secured opposite the layer of magnetic material (24), the ball marker (30) is held by the force of magnetic attraction against the exposed surface of the fabric layer (22). The ball marker (30) remains in position until purposefully dislodged by a force that opposes the magnetic field created by the magnetic material. This force may be applied by the thumb and forefinger of the golfer's hand to remove the golf ball marker (30) from the fabric layer (22). The layer of magnetic material (24) may be incorporated into the bill (16) or band of a hat or cap (10), the bill or band of a golf sun visor, the closure flap of a golfing glove, or in a golf towel.

摘要： A golf ball marker (150) or other small article that is attracted by the force of magnetism is carried in open display on a fabric article of clothing or other fabric accessory. The ferrous article remains in position on the clothing due to the force of magnetism. To produce this effect, a permanent magnet (36) is secured in position on the fabric article, often in contact with a concealed side of a layer of fabric of which the fabric article is formed. A golf ball marker (150), golf divot repair tool, golf pencil with a ferrous band, or other article that is constructed of or which includes a ferrous material is placed into contact with an exposed layer of the fabric to which the permanent magnet (36) is secured. The ball marker (150) or other article is held by the force of magnetic attraction that typically acts through the fabric layer of material from the concealed side thereof to create a magnetic field on the visually exposed side of the fabric material. The ball marker (150) or other material remains in position until purposefully dislodged by a force that opposes and overcomes the magnetic field created by the permanent magnet (36). The permanent magnet (36) may be incorporated into the crown, bill (16), or band of a hat or cap (10), a golf sun visor, or into the closure flap of a golfing glove, a golf towel, or the structure of a golf bag. The magnetic retention system may be sold as a unit for attachment to a layer of fabric. Such an embodiment may take the form of a tray formed of flexible plastic that defines a cavity that receives the magnet (36).
