摘要： A rowing exercise machine, comprising: a base (1), a seat (2), a rotation disc (3), oar units (4), a damping mechanism (6) and a transmission mechanism (7). The base (1) has a stand (11) and a sliding rail (12) obliquely disposed. The seat (2) is slidably fitted on the sliding rail (12). The rotation disc (3) is rotatably mounted on the stand (11) through a fixed rotation shaft (31). Two oar units (4) are connected to two ends of the rotation shaft (31) respectively through one-way bearings (51) to drive the rotation disc (3) to rotate in one direction when the oar units (4) are rowed. The damping mechanism (6) is mounted on the stand (11). The transmission mechanism (7) is mounted on the stand (11) and connected between the rotation disc (3) and the damping mechanism (6), to drive a damping wheel (61) of the damping mechanism (6) to rotate when the rotation disc (3) is rotating.

摘要： An exercise harness has a band (1) that is retained partially encircling the user's head, by a chin-strap (3) and inter-connected head-straps (4). The straps (3, 4) are attached to individual spaced locations of the band (1) by press-studs (6, 7) or two-part fabric fastenings. A cord (13) extending through a pulley-block (14) is clipped at its ends (12) to rings (11) at respective ends of the band (1). Load from a weight or from reaction to head movement is applied to the pulley-block (14) via a swivel connection (15) for equalisation and balancing out of asymmetrical tensioning of the two ends of the band (1) for extension exercise of muscles of the spinal cervix. Unsafe or inappropriate loading causes break-out of one or more of the press-studs (6, 7) or other fastenings to give audible warning of it and a measure of relief.

The device includes a rotating assembly including an inclined, elevated, backwardly-oriented back rest and optionally a head rest and an arm assembly.
