摘要： Spine stabilization systems are disclosed. One spine stabilization system includes a bone screw assembly including a coupling member and a screw member received therein. The coupling member includes a pair of extension elements that form a pair of slots. The slots include bottom angled surfaces. An angled wedge member having a substantially horizontal bottom surface and an angled top surface is delivered on top of the screw member within the coupling member. A rod member can be delivered down the coupling member such that it rests on the slots and on top of the angled wedge member. A locking assembly comprising a cap member and set screw can be delivered down the coupling member to secure the rod member to the coupling member. The rod member and locking assembly components can be delivered through a single incision and at a same or similar angle as the screw member during surgery.

摘要： An anchoring implant to be screwed into a hole and self-lock therein with secure stability. The implant, which may be used in dental, orthopedic or any of several non-medical applications, has a conically tapered profile with an aggressively-threaded, self-tapping apical end. A central region of the implant is formed with a plurality of burnishing edges each configured to apply a circumferentially sweeping compressive strain to the interior surface of the hole with a burnishing action while the implant is being screwed into position. A coronal end of the implant includes a corking feature to avert mushrooming around the perimeter of the hole. A central thread profile may extend through and intersect the burnishing edges to provide either enhanced self-tapping or enhanced corking functionality. The extreme coronal end comprises a platform for receiving an abutment or other fastening element via an internal connect feature.

摘要： Three tubular bodies (2-4) having different lengths and diameters are inserted and connected to each other by pins so that they project over the edges (7) of the next larger tubular body. The pins are inserted by press-fitting through the holes of the tubular bodies and are secured by their hooks. The length of the multi-walled placeholder (1) is adjusted by pushing the tubular bodies along the longitudinal axis when the pins are removed. The tubular bodies have uniformly arranged hexagonal openings at their jacket surface that define a honeycomb structure. An independent claim is included for the method of producing a multi-walled placeholder.
