摘要： Provided herein is a method performed by an appliance for washing and rinsing goods of detecting process water added to a sump of the appliance during interruption of operation of the appliance, upon recommence of appliance operation, and an appliance performing the method. The method may include detecting process water added to a sump of the appliance during interruption of operation of the appliance, upon recommence of appliance operation. The method may include increasing operating speed of a circulation pump of the appliance to a target speed, measuring an indication of circulation pump pressure or process water flow rate through the circulation pump, and determining that process water has been added to the sump of the appliance during the interruption in case the measured pressure or flow rate is maintained at a sufficient level after the speed of the circulation pump has reached the target speed.

摘要： A dishwashing machine of the present invention comprises a water feed valve as a water supply unit for supplying water into a washing tub, a water level detector for detecting a water level of the washing water supplied in the washing tub, and a controller unit. The controller unit measures a time of supplying the water until the water level detector detects the water level after the start of water supply through the water feed valve. The controller unit supplies supplemental water by continuing supply of water for a predetermined time period after the water level detector detects the water level, and changes a time of supplying the supplemental water for a rinsing step based on a difference in the time of supplying water between a washing step and the rinsing step.

According to the apparatus for guarding a pressure sensor, washing water more than or less than a prescribed amount is prevented from being supplied to the washing machine, and thus a uniform washing process is performed to improve the reliability of the washing machine, Also, the damage or corrosion of electric/electronic sub assembly of the washing machine due to the overflow of the washing water is prevented to prolong the lifespan of the washing machine.
