摘要： A container for storing a set of oral care tools in which multiple oral care tools are removably connected to connecting portion. The container includes a first portion that defines a first cavity configured to receive and capture the connecting portion therein and a second portion including first and second side walls defining a second cavity in which the oral care tools are stored. At least one of the first or second side walls can be pivoted to an open position to allow a consumer to access and separate an oral care tool from the connecting portion while the connecting portion is retained within the first cavity.

The device for removing excess applique has a flexible segment (120) which is manually squeezed by the user to engage the flexible segment (120) with the applicator (20) to remove excess applique from the applicator (20) upon passing the applicator (20) through the flexible segment (120). In one embodiment, the flexible segment (120) includes at least one projection (412) extending from an aperture wall which engages the applicator (20) as the applicator (20) is pulled through the deformed aperture in the flexible segment (120). In a preferred embodiment, the applique is mascara and the applicator (20) is a mascara brush.

摘要： The brush has sets of relatively reciprocably displaceable bristles which are straddled about a row of teeth, transverse thereof, and applied to the opposing faces of the teeth by means of a pair of paddle-headed tweezer-like rods which are semi-rigid and discrete from one another, but hingedly interconnected with one another so that they can be held in unison as a handle while being rotated in relation to one another about an axis extending substantially parallel to the mutually adjacent sides thereof. As they are applied to the faces of the teeth, the bristle may also be translated along the length of the row; and if so, the bristle may be equipped with a pair of picks, which are used to locate the gum lines of the teeth and steer the bristle while raking the gum lines themselves. Moreover, in such a case, the picks may have thin flanges extending relatively toward one another, to provide fillet-like gussets with which to stabilize the picks against splay when they are traced along the gum lines. The brush lends itself to being packaged and shelved in compact form, and if desired, as a disposable brush, that is, as one to be put to use a time or two and then thrown away. For example, it can be fabricated as a thin, flat item which has a cross hinge so that it can be reentrantly folded onto itself, longitudinally thereof, for compactness.
