摘要： A combination cot and backpack having first (14) and second (16) equal sized rigid frame sections which are hinged together at one end and pivot between a closed position to form a backpack (10) and an open position to form an elevated cot (12). First (80) and second (82) sheets of flexible material are laced tautly between side portions (24,34) of the first and second frame sections (14,16). A third frame section (40) telescopes out from the second frame section (16) to provide additional length for the cot. The third frame section (40) is covered by a third sheet (94) which unfolds from the second sheet (82) and is held tautly by connectors (112,114) underneath. Unique to the invention is that the fourth part (5) consists of a flexible and foldable material which enables the fourth part (5) to fold when the device is lifted as a carrying case and that the carrying strap's position allows all the parts to fold flat against each other when the device is carried by the carrying strap.
