    • The invention relates to a self-contained submarine station device, characterised in permitting an unsupported stabilised submarine working position by means of a ballast structure and, hence, a working connection between the sea bed and the constructions on the surface. Designed to compensate for significant loads, said device is a compromise between conventional surface platforms and a submersible and may be equipped with different systems and tools according to the work to be carried out. The basic equipment permits working in a moving fashion with complete autonomy as required. Two versions are disclosed, one version for the recovery of hydrocarbons at great depth and a version provided with a capsule for working in the deep sea. The version for recovery of hydrocarbons at great depth comprises a fitted module for handling and housing a flexible column. Said flexible column is supported every 200 metres by rigid elements connected to each other by cables fixed to the station and ends with a skirt in the form of a funnel, the wide part of which is designed to capture gas, viscous liquid or solid escapes at great depth with a density of less than 1. Said flexible column is designed for a deployment with a vertical length of several thousand metres below the station and can survive the demands of great depths.
