摘要： The invention relates to a housing for a fan or blower, in particular an axial fan, comprising a wall ring (2) having an inlet nozzle section (3) and an outer diffuser (6) having an inlet flow opening (7) and an outlet flow opening (8) and a holder for an electric motor (9) of the fan, which holder is arranged in an inner space of the housing. The outer diffuser (6) is formed by at least two partial ring sections that are connected to the outer circumferential surface by means of mechanical connection means. The holder is formed by a plurality of struts (14) that can be attached via one end to an inner circumferential surface of the outer diffuser (6), that are located at a distance according to the circumference, and that can be fastened in the edge region of the inlet flow opening (7) of said outer diffuser, the ends of which struts can be mounted to a motor flange (16) of a motor housing (17) of the electric motor (9).

The mount (7) consists of a plurality of stays (12), fastened by one end to the second truncated cone section (11), which extend from an inner circumferential surface of the truncated cone section (11) in the direction of the longitudinal axis (X-X) and have, on the other, internal ends, mount sections for the electrical motor (8). According to the invention, there are fastening means (24, 26) of the housing wall (2) in the region of the inflow opening (4) for connection to a connection part, in particular a wall ring (49a, b, c, d) and having fastening means (28) in the edge region of the outflow opening (6) thereof for a protective grate (23) and/or fastening means (29, 31) for fastening an outside diffusor (37) to the housing wall (2) in the region of the outflow opening (6).
