    • The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for transmitting a unicast data frame. The above mentioned method includes: performing Transparent Interconnection of Lots of Links (TRILL) encapsulation for a unicast data frame, adding path mapping information and/or path mapping policy to a TRILL header, and transmitting the encapsulated unicast data frame (S202); during a transmission procedure, parsing the TRILL header, and implementing forwarding path mapping according to the path mapping information through a first predetermined algorithm or directly according to the path mapping policy (S204); and encapsulating and forwarding the unicast data frame by using a forwarding path obtained through mapping (S206). The technical solution provided by the present invention solves the problems of bandwidth waste and packet disorder or even retransmission, and further achieves the effects of mapping a forwarding path and sharing network load among multiple paths, and of improving network bandwidth utilization ratio.

    • The invention discloses a method and system for Transparent Interconnection of Lots of Links (TRILL) network interconnection, comprising: a Border RBridge (BRB) of a first TRILL network receiving TRILL data frames transmitted by a second TRILL network, and forwarding the TRILL data frames; a RBridge (RB) of the first TRILL network receiving the TRILL data frames transmitted by the BRB, learning path to the second TRILL network through control information in a TLV format distributed by the BRB or by observing the TRILL data frames, and forwarding decapsulated original data frames to a device identified by the destination MAC address; and the RB encapsulating the TRILL data frames according to the learned path information, and transmitting the TRILL data frames to the second TRILL network through the BRB. The problem of interconnecting multiple TRILL networks across a traditional network and the problem of mass MAC address information when a large number of TRILL networks are interconnected are solved by the invention.
