摘要： The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for encoding an acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement response message and a rank indicator signalling, wherein the method for encoding for an acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement response message comprises: using the encoding mode of a convolutional code to encode the acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement when the bit number of the fed back acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement response message is greater than M, wherein the M is a positive integer which is greater than 2. By virtue of the present invention, the problem that the prior conventional does not support the transmission of the RI signalling greater than 2 bits and the ACK/NACK response message greater than 11 bits which need to be fed back on the PUSCH is solved, thus a reliable transmission of the acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement response message and the rank indicator signalling on the PUSCH is ensured.
