    • To provide a speed controller capable of controlling an action speed of an external cylinder in one stroke in a step-wise manner.
      The speed controller (1) includes a first flow path (16) and a second flow path (18) that allow a first port (12) and a second port (14) to be in communication with each other. The first flow path (16) is provided with a first check valve (28) for allowing flow from the first port (12) to the second port (14). The second flow path (18) is provided with a first needle valve (32), and an opening hole (28d) of the first check valve (28) is constituted as a part of a flow path. The first needle valve (32) adjusts the flow rate by changing an opening area of the opening hole (28d) with a tip portion (34a) fixed on a piston (30) in the cylinder chamber (20). The speed controller (1) further includes a third flow path (22) allowing the first port (12) and the cylinder chamber (20) to be in communication with each other. The third flow path (22) is provided with a second check valve (46) for allowing flow from the first port (12) to the cylinder chamber (20).

    • The present invention provides a movement device, in which a clearance between a contact body and a support rail is automatically eliminated, without an increase in preload and even with abrasion of the contact body and the support rail, so as to eliminate play of the movement device. The movement device comprises: a support rail 2; a moving body 4 being guided by the support rail 2 and moved relative to the support rail 2; contact bodies 5, 6 and 7 being provided to the moving body 4 and individually in contact with the support rail 2 from different directions; and preload means 8 for always pressing at least one of the contact bodies 5, 6 and 7 onto the support rail 2 with a prescribed force, the preload means 8 presses the contact body 7 of the contact bodies 5, 6 and 7, which contacts the support rail 2 from a direction substantially opposite to a direction of a load applied to the support rail 2 via the moving body 4, onto the support rail, and the preload means has one-way check means for prohibiting the contact body 4 to move away from the support rail 2.
