摘要： A height-adjustable shelf-supporting system (16) for an appliance (14) includes an appliance (14) having walls (18) that define an interior cavity (12). The appliance (14) has an electrical system (20) that extends into at least one of the walls (18) of the appliance (14). A shelf (22) is selectively disposed within the cavity (12) and includes a lighting fixture (24). A shelf support system in communication with the electrical system (20) includes at least one rotatable body operable between a plurality of support positions (26), the at least one rotatable body removably receiving and supporting the shelf (22), wherein each of the support positions (26) of the rotatable body corresponds to a different shelf height (28). The removable engagement between the shelf (22) and the rotatable body in any of the plurality of support positions (26) places the lighting fixture (24) in communication with the electrical system (20).

摘要： A tiered storage system for refrigerator door bins (35) is established by providing an insert (42) between opposing side walls of the bin, with the insert including a raised platform (76) arranged spaced from a bottom wall (52) of the bin. The insert is positioned such that the platform extends only part way from a rear wall (53) to a front wall (56) of the bin and maintained in this operational or in-use position by retainer structure acting between the bin and the insert. The insert also includes an upstanding front panel (86) extending upward from a front end portion of the platform, with the upstanding panel extending between the opposing side walls of the bin, to prevent food containers stored on the platform from toppling upon movement of the refrigerator door.
