    • A wheel carrier for a multi-link individual wheel suspension system comprises a wheel bearing receiving section, a first transverse link connecting point for connecting an upper transverse link, a second transverse link connecting point for connecting a rear, lower transverse link, a third transverse link connecting point for connecting a front, lower transverse link, and a longitudinal link connecting point for connecting a longitudinal link arm. The longitudinal link connecting point is formed by a longitudinal link connecting arm section which penetrates from a region which, in the installed position of the wheel carrier, lies above the third transverse link connecting point to the associated longitudinal link arm. The wheel carrier is distinguished in that the third transverse link connecting point is formed by a rear joint bolt receptacle and a front joint bolt receptacle, and in that the front joint bolt receptacle is connected into the wheel carrier via the longitudinal link connecting arm section. This creates a wheel carrier which is distinguished by particularly high structural strength.
