摘要： A high voltage circuit breaker is presented. The circuit breaker includes a vacuum interrupter module, a drive module, and an actuator. The vacuum interrupter module includes a vacuum interrupter housing and at least two electrical contacts in the vacuum interrupter housing - where at least one of the two electrical contacts is movable relative to the other allowing the two electrical contacts to engage and disengage one from another for switching on and off a high voltage. The drive module includes a drive module housing and an electrically insulating drive member, at least a part of the electrically insulating drive member being contained in the drive module housing insulating said part from ambient air, with said electrically insulating drive member being coupled with the at least one movable contact. The actuator is coupled to the electrically insulating drive member for providing a relative movement of said at least two electrical contacts.
